  1. Yeah that's what made me wait so long to get one, no coil choice, I'd probably never miss the WM08. I would have got the 600 but they shorted it in area's i thought senseless. I'm not real active at this hobby but when i do get an opportunity to hit decent ground through my construction work the 800 seems a better choice. P.S. ridge Runner, your killing me?
  2. Mine is in the package too Steve, think they should have included the chargers and left this for an accessory. Bluetooth headgear gets better and cheaper so most people will go that route i believe. nice to have one as a back up so will hold on to it.
  3. picked 3 targets in my heavily trashy yard, took a half hour to find 3 clean enough! Nickle was 7 or 8 inches but a small nail was 2 inches over it! pretty happy as i pounded this yard for 18 yrs and also another guy hit it a few times. 3 holes & 3 coins, 55 nickle, 46 penny about 8'' and a 1990 clad quarter just under the sod. All were surrounded signals, sounds like a casino back there!
  4. Anyone know if the new version is any stronger? From what Minelab put out seems only internal upgrades.
  5. I'd be leary of opening up the 60 i had like that guy whips his 66 open. But see no structural improvments .
  6. Hope you get an answer Bill. I have been thinking of buying a safari.
  7. river team six lists 6", 11", 15" coils listed as out of stock. He's got $1123.75 on them all i believe because Minelab never gave him a price either.
  8. I thought about keeping it for out of town work but i have a compadre that works fine for that. Using the GO-FIND got me wanting something newer then my tesoro,s with a screen, dang thing.
  9. I got a 60 for $100. It's a neat concept but really whats the word, delicate . I sold it But if it was sturdier and and you could turn off the light show that is distracting and a battery eater I'd buy another. Used it in a sand volleyball court and it worked fine.
