  1. John was a good friend of our family. He lived down the road from my parents the past 20 years or so. We were very saddened, we were on the way down to Tombstone when we got a call from his wife. He was a great friend and wonderful human being. It was always a treat to be able to spend time with him. Unfortunately I was only on a handful of hunts with him. Rest in Peace Goldmaster!
  2. I know someone wanting to learn their Invenio Pro. The video you posted now shows unavailable. Do you know if your friend re-posted it or his user name on YouTube so I could find it? Thanks in advance, Mark B. Vail, AZ
  3. Sounds like it is confirmed that the coils and battery holders are compatible with the White's version! That is great for legacy owners having a source for replacement battery holders and new coil designs. And for the Garrett owners to be able to try the older White's coils. I'm excited with this new development! I'm definitely going to get one and I'm happy to see all the extras that come with it! But as other have said, I would prefer the tan. It will be my first Garrett detector. I'm very glad they are bringing this back. I had thought it sad that it was killed off before its time... It will be interesting to see if they have more versions in the future with all the improvements they wanted to include and the ideas Tom mentioned a few months ago...
  4. I'm new here, I've seen your site many times and you always have interesting insights. I thought I had an account but tonight I finally signed up. Anyways, I've seen the news on these machines and have been very curious about them. Where are these detectors made, in Turkey, or elsewhere? It will be interesting to see how geopolitics plays a role. Tariffs and such. Competition is good and hopefully there continues to be a variety of manufacturers coming up with better products and pushing the limits. Happy hunting, Mark
