Dental Crowns

Recommended Posts

This subject came up on another thread recently and, coincidentally, member King of Bling told me of this YouTube video which just posted today:

Pirate Mike finds a gold dental crown at 19:54 and acid tests it at 22:45.

  • 2 weeks later...

He (Pirate Mike) found another one a couple days later. Not an extremely uncommon find in our area (SoCal). A bit gruesome but from scattered remains of cremated loved ones... but hey... gold is gold and if I don't pick it up someone else will.

In this one... he found 5 in one day! ?

Just out of curiosity I looked it up and the melting point of gold is 1948 degrees Fahrenheit. Cremation temperatures range between 1400 and 1800 degrees Fahrenheit (for about two or three hours)
