  1. hello! does anyone know if the "apex" was beta tested in trashed parks before it was released!...i don't see any evidence that this was done by garrett's payroll help,or anybody else? i am assuming it was given to "regular folks" to use in everyday settings! i need and want to see there "input!"..non-biased test results!..c/mon garrett you know you did this!..lets see it in print! (h.h.!) j.t.
  2. yes first texas, and particularly, whites seem be operating on "old money" i want to assume both of them have circuits in 'skunk works" but who knows? seems whitey is slip-sliding away.damn! they piss me off! what the f are they doing out there in ''sweet home!" since they are NOT diversified, they need to "wake up" and fast!..wakey! wakey! eggs! and bacey i'm just sayin' (h.h.!) j.t.
  3. i agree! i have a "mojave" and it is a little jewel!..i use it as my "travel" instrument too! have a compact rig consisting of a "wilcox50s" digger, a "jimmy sierra coin popper",a "garrett carrot",and a brass probe carried by a small tesoro pouch. can "slap" this rig on at a moments notice when i spy a nice "curb strip",or totter.i mainly hunt "old" strips and totters for coins and jewelry. tesoros are built very well, and are rugged,so i don't anticipate anything going wrong, but still nice to know the warranty is still valid.latest i heard,is that there phones are "operational" again, and they are repairing detectors,so still around! they make great detectors that are a ton of fun to use! (h.h.!) j.t.
  4. if you learn the "nuances" of a tesoro you won't need to go i.d or tones!..once you know what the detector is telling you...best audio modulation in the business. (h.h.!) j.t.
  5. i agree! i am thinking some kind of announcement with details will be forthcoming. (h.h.!) j.t.
  6. honestly, you should also consider grabbing a "brace" of mojaves too! may really skyrocket in the future! .no excuse not to have one in the car, when you are traveling, and want to hunt tot lots and curb strips (h.h.!) j.t.
  7. jeees! don't wish for that! we don't need another chinese company making metal detectors to sell here! (h.h.!) j.t.
  8. i got a solution! have all who purchased, return 'em and get the mx-5 instead with cash back. you can't submerse it,but you can "run" it in the rain!..no issues!..a genuine "sleeper" in white's lineup, replacing former status of the m6 which is well known now. mx-5 is a "crackerjack" coin sniper with the 6" eclipse concentric on board. great combo for the "junk" the 9" concentric coil is a terrific coil too!..great depth, stabile, and excellent pinpointing. detector is outrageously fast!..passes monte's nail board test. rugged, light, and well built with white's traditional build quality. (h.h.!) j.t.
  9. i would not be surprised that the 10" dd coil is the problem! "smart money" says replace it with the 9" concentric on the mx-5 .make it adaptable to the mx sport. almost the same size and i'll bet it makes a difference. (h.h.!) j.t.
