14x9 Evo On GPX - Is It Working Right?
Sourdough Moe replied to Sourdough Moe's topic in Minelab Metal Detectors
I dont know why but i keep thinking it should go deeper -
I tested the 14x9 evo on a 2.5 gram nugget i was abel to barley hear it at 9 inches is that normal. Setting was general.sens extra mono fixed everthing else was fp except target volume was at 13
-
Yeah I was able to hear it clear scrubbing it than I raised it to see if I could still hear it and was able to get a noticeable signal 2 more raised inches
-
Threshhold in the 2 o'clock position gb normal soil time is sharp coil mode is in mono tracking fixed head phones are grey ghost not the cheap minelab ones all other settings are in factory preset was able to pick up a 22 bullet 2.5grams nine inches was scrubbing the 14x9 evo against the dirt but was able to hear it 2 more additional inches off the ground.

Why does it seem that mine does not go as deep as others
-
Man my 14x9evo is as good as the sadie on my small pieces and better than the 15x12 I can hear a penny through 13 inches of memory foam
-
why do i feel as if my gpx 5000 is not working as good as others
-
i have a question what kind of depth should i expect on a nickel size target using the 14 x9 nf evo and what setting would you recommend, my ground is weak i live in Alaska
-
i was using sensitive extra i believe, and i am doing this in my house and that small coil is quiet i mean quiet.
-
Sadie coil screams 3 inches away in the one near the tip and pigs an inch away on the other ones I can say I am happy

Man I made small pieces that my gmt can hear if I run them up to my coil. I swear I Can hear a faint signal when I rub them on my gpx5000 I mean tiny if I was rubbing against the ground listening good I'd find them
-
Why will my gpx not pic them up like the other one
