I think just a couple shown are collected. This is my 2000 to present digs. My most beautiful dug coin from sandy soil I will take a photo of. My 1980 to 2000 digs either paid for my Wifes Nursing Degree or were traded for detectors or given to family and friends. It was pretty impressive, so I have been told.

I found my reference book. It's titled The French Army in America During the American Revolution. All fought at Yorktown. The regiments are as follows: 7,13,16,17,18,26,34,41,64,68,70,74,84,85,89,104 and Navy. The 64th Suisse were Volunteers with Count Rochambeau. They were of Swiss National origin. They were in the Artillery. More to follow.

I dug the French Navy and the 64th near Williamsburg on private land. I collected the others. based on a book I have that discusses French Regiments in Virginia with backmark photos. I know the French passed by my house in 1788 after the Rev. War. during the Campaign of 1788. Thanks.
