  1. I dug the French Navy and the 64th near Williamsburg on private land. I collected the others. based on a book I have that discusses French Regiments in Virginia with backmark photos. I know the French passed by my house in 1788 after the Rev. War. during the Campaign of 1788. Thanks.
  2. I would have thought you would dig a 2-piece California buckle in the gold fields.
  3. At 71 I should have put knee pads on. If I ever gave anyone a tip it would be protect your knees from the cold wet ground. Severe arthritis now.
