  1. Thank you for the full explanations! I purchased the bone conduction headphones and found my head is too big for the and I never came close to understanding its full potential. I went with aftermarket headphones for my water hunts. I just ordered the WSA2CL today to use on land and very shallow water.
  2. I'm looking to buy a pair of great sounding wireless headphones. Something close to my water hunting Aqua-Teks would be great. UPDATE: I found the WS5 are a stand alone interface with the coils where the WSAII-XL requires the remote or "puck"
  3. Yesterday, I spoke to a guy who helped me decide on purchasing my Deus II in August. He asked me if I'd tried the Relic program on the beach? I hadn't but gave it a quick test and it was much different than I was used to with my normal Beach setting. He said it is now the only program he uses in the saltwater sand of eastern North Carolina. He showed me a nice silver necklace he found that day. I wonder if this is something to test further or if any of you have used this with success?
  4. I'd like to know how to change them over, I have an extra pair of Grey Ghost CTX
  5. It was a certain let down after the initial introduction and I feel a lot of trust was lost with The Fisher company. Meanwhile, I'm surprised other companies haven't tried to capitalize on the idea of a better discriminating PI machine.
  6. I am curious as what response it would give a different depths and if the chain is laid out straight.
  7. Thank you for saving all dug up targets. It gives us without an idea of what to expect. Of course All Metal will produce just that! I read earlier it will not pick up very small items. ...say a ear ring stud. Yes or no?
  8. Oh MY! A few weeks ago I pocketed 50 bottle caps from surface and Equinox. I was digging all signals. Thank you for cleaning up whatever area you hunted! After seeing this, I agree with Joe that the water and early winter is the spot for the AQ
  9. I am guessing the next logical shipment of the next AQ or 2 will go to Florida. ...if not there already.
  10. After I asked the depth question to Joe, I realized it was intended for the control box. I typed before thinking...again.
  11. My Plans? Beach nourishment has been recently completed to almost all local ocean side beaches within the past 4 years. Aside from fresh drops, the unsettled sand allows heavy targets to sink fast. The waves on most days give me a beating if I try to venture out. So with the AQ, I plan to hunt the shallow water and hit a few swimming holes within the Intracoastal Waterway. Sting Ray a.k.a. Ferrous Grump
  12. Thank you for once again sharing the AQ in action! Question: It appears you are taking the machine deeper than the 3 foot depth limit. Am I wrong or did you make an adjustment that I did not read in another post?
  13. That is certainly good to know while detecting close to today's sun worshipers! My CTX will sound off when lightening is near.
