Compass 77b Battery Cover

Anyone know how the battery cover is attached to the side of the case on a 77B. I do not see any hole for screws, and the original cover is missing, so I need to fabricate a cover.

The doors has 2 knobs on it that push in a little and locks on. Taking it off you pull them both out a little and it comes off.

Does the case have two holes where the knobs are pushed into. My case does not have any hole, just a square hole.

I don't have mine anymore. I see there is no holes. Maybe something inside of the hole. Someone will post that has one and hopefully with photos to show. I know the cover snapped on  and snapped off. So there must be something there. I can't find enough photos on it. It's the best I can do.

The covers were plastic that snapped into the hole.

Thanks, now all I have to do is find one, or fabricate one.

I used to have several Compass detectors. The first thing people lost was the battery cover.

Anyone have a plastic 77b battery cover they want to part with. If so send a picture of it so I know if it will work on my 77B.

I do not need a cover anymore, found the original cover in the bottom of the carry bag.
