Metal Detecting Or Prospecting In The Trigo Mountain/cibola Areas South Of Ehrenberg, Az

Recommended Posts

Just wondering if one is allowed to prospect in the Trigo Mountain area if it is on the boundary of the Northern Yuma Proving ground? I see the road from Highway 95 runs right through the Proving Grounds to the Colorado River and Ehrenberg. Either dry washing or metal detecting?

Was going out a few times a year but now they are running people off and threatening to confiscate detectors, quads, trucks & jail time. Especially now with the Ukraine war and new weapons development/testing going on. The new longer range Excalibur artillery shell targets are pretty close to the southern prospecting areas.
