  1. I'm very fortunate to hunt in colonial Virginia. Reales were legal tender into the 1850's. You will get one .
  2. Lucky #19 for me colonial relic hunting. Three coin sized flat buttons and three Indians. Zero trash. Nice
  3. The only relic I want to find is a George Washington Inaugural button. I have the rest covered.
  4. You will be glad you did. VDI 17 has been unlucky. Flat iron .
  5. Brass Musket Barrel Band, Flat buttons and an Indian Head Penny. Lucky VDI number for me is 19. Brass buttons and Indian heads.
  6. I few issues but overall not bad. I have to extend the rod to the end and there is some flexing. My hand rubs on the control box. At high sensitivity when the coil strikes stalks while field hunting it will sound off.
  7. For me to many. Amazing how small the lead you will find.
  8. A trusted friend who tests detectors found not much depth difference between the two models. The Multi Kruzer has enough features to keep him happy.
  9. A friend may have your answer. I will send out "The Bat Signal" today in your behalf.
  10. That would be tough to do a comparison. I use the Impact with 12 modes x 3 different frequencies. That's a lot of play time. It does everything I hope the Kruzer may do. Impact price has dropped to near Multi Kruzer level. Good luck with your decision.
  11. Key, shield with 2 attachments, a possible whistle and a flat button. Regards
  12. Thank you Steve. Big fan of yours. Today was my first day I hope of four. The ground I hunt is extreme and I'm going back to permissions I have hunted out looking for civil war buttons and colonial coins and relics. I dug three buttons today to include the pictured button. All confederate buttons are good here. I will save my impressions for a bit later. Thanks for such a nice forum to post on. Regards
