What Is This Funky Warning Tone In Pp Mode

When I go over some targets in PP there's this intermittant noise.  What the hell is that?  Some kind of Ratchet limit warning? 

Used to be able to figure these things out...😆

Are you pressing and holding the pinpoint button down when the noise happens? 

I think I've had that happen, just need to get used to pressing the button once to turn it on and not hold it down.

that's a good point, thanks!  hadthe sense that it was indicating something about the target itself....
