Hard Time Pairing Wsa2 To Ws6 Puck

Tried to pair my wsa2 headphones to my ws6 puck today. Would not work at all on the 1.01 firmware. 

Kept thinking I was doing something wrong. 

I had to go back to .71 for it all to pair up again. 

I am fine with that personally but it really doesn't make sense. 

Anyone else have to do that?

I have had no problems with updating from 0.6 to 0.71 thence to 1.01 and to 2.0

I know that the WSA's need to be updated to the same SW version as the puck/RC or pairing will not happen - did you remember to upgrade the WSA software version too?

The wsa2 were brand new. I figured they were already that way. Anyway

I am fine with version .71.....basically just use it for the large number anyway with stock program

Hey bigtim,

Have you used the short wire to update your headphones? You cannot use the longer 3 connector USB cable.

Also the WS6 cannot be paired to anything, you have to unpair it from anything to have it stand alone.

When both pucks are at the same version, only then can you pair the WSA II to the WS-6. 🙂

Despite the upgrade the devices hold their pairings.
