Depar Dpr 600 - New Gold Detector By XP

Thanks for posting Rick. Interesting it can use wireless controllers, and the manual also says it can be updated over the internet. Rumor has it a version will be marketed in the U.S. which I think would be a wise move. The DEUS V4 is an expensive option for those who just want a lightweight nugget detector. At 2 lbs and running 15, 30, and 53 kHz this would be a great offering if at a much lower price than the DEUS. http://depardetector.com/product/depar/dpr-600/912/511

A big shocker for me - the elliptical version of the coil is said to operate at 20, 40, and 80 kHz! (See video). Is this what we will see in the high frequency elliptical for the DEUS? The round HF coil is said to operate at 15, 30, and 60 (56) kHz which is in line with what has been previously advertised.

Yes Steve, XP launched the HF coils first in Africa at half the price (African elliptical has better frequencies...).

About Depar 600: It lacks many of the features found on the Deus such as:
-wireless headphones (and can't be added),
-multi frequencies, etc.

I would appreciate people not making inflammatory statements directly attacking other individuals by name via this forum. I have blanked out the individual's name in your post.

The DPR 600 features can be determined by reading the Owner's Manual

There have been rumors of a new XP model, and a version of the DPR 600 for the U.S. and Europe would seem to be a no-brainer. Maybe the problems with V4 software has slowed things up waiting for the bugs to get worked out in 4.1? Or maybe concern that the main company to lose sales to such a model might be XP themselves? I have no idea, but so far no word at all on whether or not we will see a version of this detector in the U.S. or elsewhere in 2018.
