martygene Posted March 14, 2018 Share Posted March 14, 2018 The manual shows how to do auto ground balance. do we have to do an auto ground balance before we put it in tracking ground balance or can we just do a noise cancel and then put it in tracking GB? Mark Gillespie Posted March 14, 2018 Share Posted March 14, 2018 I think you would be fine doing it either way. I personally chose my program, noise cancel, do an automatic GB then set to track. The reason I do it this way is because some of the mineralization in my area is extremely high and doing an automatic GB gives the machine a starting point to track from. I might add one thing, I really like checking just to see how much the mineralization changes within a few yards. Amazing how well this machine can keep up with the changes. Personally I learn something new with the EQ each hunt.
