Bootscrape
G’day George, do you mind telling us what price you paid for the SPP.... just ‘cos I’ve got one I’m thinking of selling here in Oz. Mine has the High/Low Conductivity switch fitted and I’ve also modified the rechargeable battery pack to take eight 3.7 Volt lithium 14500 batteries. (2 parallel banks of 4 ) giving around 15 volts with 4000 m/ah of run time. The extra voltage over the stock 11.5 volt pack gives much better depth/ sensitivity. The 12x8 Razorback coil is dynamite on any TDI machine and also handles EMI great, being a folded 8 noise cancelling design. Just wondering what I should be asking for it ? I really like your modifications. Adding the high low switch turns it into a TDI Sl. The folded coil also adds value. Great job with the battery packs. 700 to 800 US dollars would be my guess. What a Beauty. I also own a QED 3 with the Sadie and other coils.
Bootscrape
Thanks for the reply George, I definitely won’t be underpricing it that’s for sure. These older detectors are getting to be like classic cars are for collectors.... maybe gaining value in the future.🤑
