Over the years (since 1970) I’ve used many different shafts; stock, aluminum, carbon fiber etc. and none compares with Steve’s Detector Rods. If you’ve never tried a shaft with the counterweight, you’ll be shocked at the difference in perceived weight. All Steve’s work is well designed, thoughtfully engineered, precisely constructed and perfectly balanced.
