Hand Held Metal Detector

Harbor Freight has a hand wand metal detector that works great. The cost is just under 40 dollars and you can get a 20 % coupon to lower the price even more. If you hunt old buildings I'd say don't leave home without it.

My treasure story will tell you why. This friend had a cleaners and it had a cellar with beams running from one end of the building to the other. From time to time he'd go down and whatever reason lay a key on top of one of the beams. This day he ran his hand up there feeling for that key but no key. He keep running his hand around and came up with something round. I guess it was good he had a cleaners to clean his pants. That round he found was several gold coins that had been there who knows when.

The wand looks like what Garrett puts out. The item # is 94138 if you want to check to see if they carry it  where you are.

What I didn't tell you in the above post is you get a great looking black case with a long strap to carry over your shoulder if want..
