The counterweight tube is 4 1/2" 17 oz. tube.   The weight can be adjusted by removing the end cap to remove the small bags of weights as needed.

This is an awesome upgrade for the 600 or 800. I use this rod with a 600 and use the counterweight with the 11 inch coil and no weight when swinging the 6 inch coil. The s-rod shape is great!
