I actually have all 6 coils. They all have their place for various site conditions and are all excellent. You should be able to get any of them in 5 pin from Richard at Backwoods.

Welcome from East Texas. I enjoy the Vista X also,
  4. Welcome from East Texas.
  5. Overall, I will use probably use the Legend more hours than the Versa. The Versa is my primary choice for the more difficult conditions; very heavy iron trash, deeper targets in mineral red dirt, but I will have worked the Legend there too. The Legend would be my first choice for hunting in Aluminum trash, but I will later go back with the Versa. These are the scenarios that I have found where one has an advantage over the other for me. Except for in these "special" conditions, both machines are neck & neck on performance. Both are equally rugged. Like any detectors, each will "see" things the other will miss. That is why I will use both on a site. That is why I will also work a good site with the Tarsacci, Vista X and/or some of my other units. They each have unique qualities. That is why I will also try to get Nokta's relic PI they are to introduce.
  6. Keith Southern advocated for something similar. He described his idea as a Sonic Picture of a target.
  7. What EL NINO just stated for me too. The Legend is an excellent all around detector. Very deep and accurate if set up & used correctly. Where it falls short for me is on deeper targets in my mineralized red dirt. The V1.14 Dt adjustment helps significantly. The Be mode also, but Dt is more practical for me unless the ground is very clean & I am only searching for deep larger relics. Because I have the Versa, it will be my primary unit for deeper targets on my red dirt sites both with and without iron. I will still use the Legend with the LG 35/13” coil too. On low mineral sites set up right with the big coil & using Dt it can be deeper than the Versa on some targets. I’m glad to have both rigs.
  8. Jeff, did you experiment with Dt in Park mode on those flagged targets? The little extra depth I can get with BE mode comes with little to no extra target information compared to Dt enhancement at practically the same depth.

  10. At some point I intend to set my test back up in better planned EMI free conditions. The Legend seems to also have two main TX frequencies no matter the mode(except BE) or even SMF selection. The secret sauce is evidently in the signal processing.
  11. They look like galvanized knock out plugs from electrical junction boxes. Are they magnetic?
  12. The spike at 25 kHz did remain. It was evidently a constant outside source of EMI. I should have done some pre video testing, but just did it on the spur of the moment. A more EMI free spot would have been better. Thanks for watching.
  13. I made a Post with a video link to my off the cuff frequency read out of the Legend in Gold Field & BE modes using the Versa's EMI Preview Screen. The consistent 25 kHz spike was evidently from a constant outside EMI source. Nothing even close to conclusive but interesting. I've got to get a better camera!
  14. I had the idea to use the EMI Preview screen on the Versa to look at the Legend's new BE & Gold Field Modes. Nothing conclusive but interesting none the less. The consistent 25 kHz spike is evidently constant outside EMI. I need to redo this in an EMI free place.
  15. Thanks for the detailed reply. I was looking at the notched base & knew it was hafted on to some sort of handle.
  16. Gen D is a motion All Metal mode with adjustable tone pitch breakpoint & TID. Great concept but I have never been able to get it to function anywhere near as good as the Anfibio's very powerful motion Disc modes.
  17. We will see how close it might be related to the Anfibio/Impact Gen D modes.
