Jeff McClendon Posted March 22, 2022 Share Posted March 22, 2022 If you can cut it with a pocket knife as in cut pieces off of it fairly easily it definitely isn’t obsidian. If you hammered a piece of obsidian with a pocket knife you might get a piece of the obsidian to fracture into a glass-like sliver. Hopefully you are wearing hand and at least eye protection.
