jasong Posted June 27, 2023 Share Posted June 27, 2023 I'd lean quartz, but calcite can look very similar from photos, I've even seen sugary texture calcite in the field that fooled me until I scratched it with my hammer. Scratch with a screwdriver or knife tip to tell difference - calcite will scratch and quartz will not. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
