Can XP Deus 2 Penetrate Rocks?

Hi guys i have a question about VLF detectors. I found this video claiming that all VLF detectors, including xp deus, can not penetrate rocks:

Is this true?

if the rock contains strong ore it is perfectly normal for the vlf signal not to penetrate. In such conditions you can marginally adjust the manual balance for better results.

what about xtream hunter? is it the same as other vlf detectors on rocks with ore?

how do i know visually the existence of ore in rocks?
