  1. has been around for many years Lorenz has two balance channels that work independently or both together also with a dd coil it has ferrous-non-ferrous discrimination as well as a numerical indication and with the large coils it has a conductivity indication of 0-99 ... as you can see the conductivity reading on the pulse detector is not something new that Algoforce has discovered...
  2. Putting in a second coil doesn't add depth, it just helps with electromagnetic interference. the target and depth you gave as an example is just an elusive dream for any metal detector. I have used several pulse detectors, the best and most reliable under normal survey conditions in my opinion is the minelab gpx 4000-5000 series with proper coil setup.
  3. the only problem will be if you use a battery from a camcorder like this, you will lose the amplifier built into the original.
  4. Anyone really experienced with metal detectors laughs at this kind of test...
  5. on the coils I usually use medicated tape, it sticks very strongly and is very durable.
  6. if the rock contains strong ore it is perfectly normal for the vlf signal not to penetrate. In such conditions you can marginally adjust the manual balance for better results.
  7. sorry but the translation is not clear enough to understand exactly your post. I want to ask you what machine was the space recorded with?
  8. if invinio did what they promise i would have solved the problem for only 6,000 euros and i wouldn't have had to spend thousands of euros on different classes of machines that complement each other for better results.
  9. Apart from the Z-1 model which uses only automatic terrain balancing which often does not work smoothly with large frames, the rest of the models which have the ability to manually balance can work in difficult terrains, but unfortunately lose a lot of penetration.
  10. I am so sorry for the loss of your friend. unfortunately in recent years the scourge of cancer has increased to great proportions, science is constantly making leaps and bounds I hope at some point they will be able to 100% treat this cursed disease.
  11. The XTREM HUNTER treasure hunter from XP is coming to annihilate all the deep metal detectors we know! with this import the Xtreme Hunter is imported into my country, it's something that always bothers me what most dealers do, I agree they want to sell but I find it unacceptable the way they do it, an experienced operator will definitely not fall into the trap because he has experience learn to evaluate them, but the majority do not have much experience and will make the purchase believing these big words.... If there were no forums, to inform the world, there would be the perception that a pointer reaches two meters deep 😂
  12. The machines I use to locate caches containing WWII gold pounds are usually geophysical and pulse. what i have to say is the more machines you have and operate the more your head hurts.😂
  13. 54 years you will surely have many experiences to share with us. Welcome.
  14. I'm sure a detector that can do excellent discrimination in contaminated areas can bring in more good targets than any detector that goes deep and has ordinary discrimination.
  15. of course there is a goal and the specific one is at 3m.
  16. The gpx has the best ground balance built into a metal detector ever made, it also has so many options in both settings and coils that you can handle extreme ground conditions. don't forget the gpx is built to work in Australia where it has the toughest terrain in the world.
  17. Anyone who has deus knows there is a program called no motion, I think the 2-box corresponds to this program and I think it is very difficult to get smooth operation, especially if the composition of the ground changes. In my experience, I can easily detect false signals in videos usually produced by 2 box detectors, however I'm sure in European countries it will sell very well because most people get excited very easily, but the excitement stops when they start digging stones
  18. generally this coin will produce high conductivity although i have not used manticore i believe id 84-86
  19. As strange as deep scanning machines may seem to you, it takes experience to know if it has real capabilities to see targets at depth in different terrains. I often see people who do well in tests and I believe they will do the same in real research. Detectors that can penetrate deep in different conditions need excellent ground balance that will not dramatically reduce signal penetration and currently the detectors that do this are Garrett provided large coils are made & Minelab in my personal opinion .
  20. xp is a respectable company and I respect them, I have worked with their machines and am happy, I hope they achieve something special with the Xtrem, but time will tell the real value and not the people whose job it is to promote the detector🙂
  21. When we talk about deep scanning, we are not interested in picking out metals, the rule says that it is deep it must come to the surface. gpx may not have the metal discrimination we all dream of, but it does have conductivity discrimination across the depth range, and that for some experienced operators is enough to get information. many manufacturers promise great depths and many people who watch videos taken in favorable conditions are convinced by the results, but unfortunately the truth is completely different when you get out there into the unknown.
  22. with a large coil don't be afraid to lower the gain and srabiliser even to the lowest point and raise the disc 20 30 cm from the ground, big deep objects won't be lost don't worry. if it is impossible even with reduced settings to work monocoils then a dd coil is required to solve the problem.
  23. coiltek manufactures reliable coils. for deep research of large targets we prefer monocoils if conditions allow.
  24. I guarantee there is no problem with the right coil and proper gpx handling will easily find deep targets.
