JCR Posted March 2 Author Share Posted March 2 There certainly are still targets to dig. All the clean signals are pretty much gone, but things are still hidden in the iron. The challenges of iron & higher minerals make the site a very good learning environment, that, and it is very scenic & peaceful. JCR Posted March 8 Author Share Posted March 8 The new NC 3.7 update has been made available on the Rutus web site. It includes better Unmasking capabilities in Iron, especially for low conductors. More accurate/understandable ID Graph response. Bottle cap filter now available for all Modes. Improved Small Target Boost control & adjustable display screen Contrast. The Users Manual has also been nicely revised with more detailed operation descriptions. I believe Rutus intends to continue improving the units performance & capabilities in future updates. A video I made on the now released NC 3.7 software. The emphasis is on the Versa's performance in mineralized soil & the units Hot Rock adjustment. Others have put out better videos but there is not much information out there showing the special considerations that need to be taken to improve detector performance in mineralized ground.
