Whites TDI Sl; Old Version Vs Newer Version

I find references to the TDI sl Old version vs the TDI sl Newer version. Can anyone tell me the difference and how to tell? Thanks in advance.

The newer models, made sometime in 2015 and later, included a modification suggested by Reg Sniff.That mod has been done, by several people, to the earlier machines. It increases the sensitivity. Other than that, they're all the same.

Also, the very last SL model was painted a tan color (supposedly to help with solar load) and used a straight shaft instead of the too short s-shaft. I believe that model was also shipped with a third party elliptical coil.
