Rob Ellis here from Fairfax Virginia. I got started detecting underwater in the 80's with a Whites PI 1000. As a SCUBA instructor, I wrote the first underwater detecting specialty certification course. While I still do a lot of underwater detecting, I also have a lot of experience on land.
