I searched the internet but, still not sure

 What does SAT adjustment mean on a metal detector? What is SAT.

I believe it's for self adjusting threshold

Still a bit confused, I know I can adjust threshold but there is. SAT adjustment also I guess you set to let it set your threshold.  I guess I’m over thinking and should just go out and detect.  lol. Thanks

Ok, I upon reading something I found I guess its how fast the threshold recovers after the hum varies??? Hmm

I will encourage you to read the Users Manual over & over. Garrett and Whites both give good descriptions of features that will make sense after you get wrapped around the unit.
