Whites TDI SL Coil Differences

Chuck, I know what a Dual Field coil is.  I own several TDIs:- Tan SL, 2 x BeachHunters, 2 x SLs

The non labeled coil has one winding on outside ring.  No winding on inner ring.  The non labeled and the Dual Fields have a Whites logo embelished in the mouldings of the upper surfaces.  The logo is situated to the right of the right hand shaft lug.

So does that help now in my question to identify the non labeled coil?

 When Whites came out with the TDI I had one of the first that came out their door .

 Later they made one you couldn’t adjust the pulse on it. It was fixed and at the same time the coil that was sold with it was not a dual field but looked the same. It had the coil wiring in the outside like what like you have. 
 I don’t have that detector anymore because I loaned it to a friend and haven’t seen friend are detector again.

By definition it is a mono coil. You have a Dual Field and a Mono.

Thank you Steve and Chuck.  I guess Chuck that was the SPP the single winding coil came with.  How interesting.

Yes you’re right it was the SPP that I couldn’t think of.
