  1. It Has to be Done Mate, Now I've just got to sort the Coils and the I'm getting a Small RV/Camper So I can put these to good use It's good having the GMT and the TDI SL But It's Not Complete without A MXT Now I got all Bases Covered, I don't need A 5K over here because there is Toooo Much Iron in the Ground and other junk so I need machines that can weed out most of it, So By September-ish I will be set, I think I have found A Roman Site Too, So If the Gold Is Slow then I have other Options In Place, Living The Dream,,HH john
  2. I have had the 950, 12", 5.3, 6X10 and the 8X14", But I have not seen the 8" one are you talking about the 8X6 sef coil?? I have ordered the 12", 950, 5.3 and the 15", If I am Chasing find Gold I will use My GMT for that and I have 2 Concentric's on the way For that Machine. That Little 5.3 Is really Good in Hot Aussie Ground, It handles it with ease, So that will be one I take back Home with me, Gold Search Australia Did some good reviews on the GMT and the MXT with the 5.3 Coil, Here it Is http://www.goldsearchaustralia.com/index.php/mxt_stories Steve went over there and enjoyed the virtues of Aussie Dirt, lol. John
  3. Yeah, I have Owned the MXT 300 and The Pro and now this New One, The 10" coil is nice But for wide open space's I like the 12" and the 950 But the 6X10 is A Good little thing, although the 10" one is smallish It Air tests on Larger Targets at massive distances, Now I have all bases covered, I just need to buy more coils, I have picked out 5 so far and my Dealer is going to get them in for Me, So Many happy hours Ahead Testing, Welcome To DP and enjoy ya self there lots to do Here, John
  4. G'day Folks, I just got my New MXT with the 10" DD coil and so far I Like, It see's a 0.06 gram piece at about 2 - 2 and a half inches Or 1.0 grains And a 0.03 gram or 0.4 grain piece at about 1/2", That's not bad for the Stock Coil I can't wait to Try out the 6X10 or the 5.3 So Far I am Liking this New Set Up John
  5. Yeah, That's In Good order considering its age, Wish I could say the same, I got to catch up with Rick about one he's got for me, and I just bought an MXT All Pro Today as well so that will be here on Thursday, Oh well?? Its Only Money Thanks again Mate,, John
  6. Steve, Thanks for posting that I just won the Bid, I got it for $99.99 plus $63.50 Freight, That should give it an inch or two depth and be a little more sensitive, Thanks again Mate,, John PS, time for bed this time zone thing is a Killer.
  7. I'm From the Sunshine Coast, Just A few inches South of you On The Map, Only wish the Drive was the same distance, lol. Congrats On your new Machine, I don't think there is A better machine for Junk filled sites and in Old Ghost Towns your Gonna be Unstoppable Now, Let us Know how that works out for you, Good Luck HH ,,John
  8. It does get very confusing when these things happen even more so when there is No Press release about such things, Because the Manual shows the GB number of 77 and my machine says 50, My first reaction was there was something wrong with it, for 2 reasons my old GMT said 77 and my MXT said 50 so panic was starting to set in, Not to worry, Aye PS, I just Ordered A New MXT All Pro, So now My Machines are All Up To Date and Under Guarantee, so that's Paid for and should be here By Thursday,, Happy Days,,, Thanks again Mate,, John
  9. Oh Ok, I was under the impression from a Video last year that Jimmy S got Whites to change A few bits and the Screen Now has A Sign that comes up that looks like the Christian Fish Symbol and the Numbers 41 next to it and when I phoned White in Scotland the Said it was the Newer Software Update Number and they Changed the GB Numbers from 77 down to 50 Upon Start Up and Jimmy talks about that in the Video Too, The Manual still shows it at 77 so that prompted me to phone Whites, What ever has happened it's not like the one I bought in 2011, Its picking up Hammered Cut Half pennies at 11" to A Foot, Thanks for your help, John
  10. Steve, I am wondering In that Area where you found that 6+ozt Nugget which Machine would be better out of the GMT and the MXT?? Baring in mind that It appears that the Software In The Newer GMTs seems a lot more powerful, In Air Tests It seems to be a lot deeper or maybe I just have a bad memory, But it Picks Items up from a HUGE Distance and If it Losses 50% of that distance in the Ground ?? Then It is Going to Be Awesome Out In The Field, So I am Wondering Have I bought A Mutant GMT or are all The Newer ones Like This??, As you have pointed out Many times that the MXT works better in Hotter Ground, But with this GMT I am Not so sure Now With the 5X9 (6X10) Twin D coil it is seeing things at the Same distance as my MXT 300 did using the 12" concentric Coil, we all know that coil see things about 5 or 6 inches more than the 5X9 Eclipse Coil Does, So Something In The Power Department is really Set to The MAX with these Newer GMTs, Thanks Mate,, John
  11. Blessin's To You Paul, The World Needs People Like You, If I can Ever Help you Out Just Call. Professor I hope you are having fun with your new machine, John
  12. It Finds bits smaller than A Pin Pointer can, except the MD20, the pictures don't do it justice, Because that small bit is Really hard to pick up with your Fingers, The more I play with this machine the more It surprises me, It seems A lot Hotter than my one I bought back in 2011, They have changed the Ground Balance setting from 77 down to 50 and the Newer Software seams to be really Hot. john
  13. G'day Folks, I have been testing the coil /Machine out today and I thought I would post a couple of pictures of how sensitive the standard Coil Is for future reference, The Small Bit is less than a 10th of a Grain and the larger Piece is around about a 10th of a grain +/-, the Scales fluctuated and the Bigger piece varied up to 0.2 grains The Smaller Piece was giving a Signal at 2 Inches and the Larger piece was reporting at 3 inches, John
  14. Amen to that, I think my favourite is the GMT but I can't imagine Life without an MXT, The GMT is so powerful since they did the software update sometime in the past 2/3 years since I bought the last One In 2011 so it must of been A 2010 model, I would love for whites to make a 12/300 Concentric coil for it, I'm sure it would melt the nuggets before ya Dig em. John
  15. Yeah I got the TDI SL and the GMT and The MXT All Pro So I have all Aspects covered I love the MXT But The GMT has my attention at the moment, But I keep Drifting towards the SL and because I like them All it makes it real hard to stay focused on the one machine, Heaven forbid if I take them all out for a walk, john
  16. Thanks Steve I had no Idea, I have just Bid On It so fingers crossed Thanks Mate your A Diamond. Rick, I am In The UK
  17. Well I sent that seller 2 messages and they have not replied, so I guess I have lost that one, although the sale has ended, It does not say whether it sold or not?? I wont say what I am thinking, But I am not going to phone them from over here, Even though they list their number on the Add,
  18. Yep, you have to keep it, and get back out there and find it's rellies.
  19. That's Better, Now you have to work out how much Gold is In It, you'll have fun working that out
  20. SWEEEEET, You done real well to find that out there, Good Job. I read the about the MXT and the GMT on Gold search's web pages and they say they do very well in Hot ground In OZ, I am going to bring mine when I come home and then maybe find enough for the 5k or the ZED, I would like to go out in the middle and find a patch where no one has been, I have seen some amazing picture of leaf gold on the net, they must be worth a fair bit??
  21. The ZED costs a fortune here, It costs over $16,600 aud. How did the GM2 perform in that ground??
  22. You got me thinking about this and I got out my Digital SLR that my brother gave me last year, I tried a couple of shots but the Batteries were flat so I charged them up and I will practice with it and see if I can achieve what he has done here, Thanks for the info,, john
  23. That's A good display of mother Nature at her finest, Nice picture, Glad you get it working, John
