Spot On, That Makes a lot of sense, I have found the Spot, And I am in the middle of buying an RV as well, so I can stay there for 2 or 3 weeks at a time and taking one week off then back to it, So I will turn my finds into the 4800 ASAP The GMT is more of an investigative Tool because I am relying on that to find the hot spots In the stretch where I know where it is, So Fingers crossed, I only started this last year and I found enough to pay for half the GMT that I bought this year, So its early days yet, John

Thanks Steve,, So in Low medium Ground would the MXT with the 12" setup Be Deeper?? I understand there is no point in using a PI in mild ground, But if I wanted to search for deeper Targets would the SL be able to do that over the 12"MXT, Because after A Person has used the 12" concentric coil you would have to go up to an 18" DD to beat it and even then it would make that bigger difference, My GMT seems to be Possessed by Evil Forces, It Has awesome power compared to the last one I bought and they have moved the GB setting from 77 down to 50, So I wonder if that is the Reason?? Comparing the TDI SL and The MXT Pro (12") I was wondering if anyone as Compared these Two Machines, Because the SL is an in between machine, Between it and the ML 5K, I have been wondering about these two machine Because I have Read Stories about people Pulling One Ounce Nuggets at 18" At Gains Creek with the MXT fitted with the 12 inch Coil, And I have seen Coins come up at over 13" with the same setup with the Gain set between 6.5 to 7, Yet I have never heard about Deep Nuggets found with the TDI SL, and I have heard about people digging Bobby Pins on the beach with the TDI's at 16" to 18", In Air Tests My GMT with the standard 5X9 coil versus the TDI SL, On a Round Flat 1 1/4ozt Lead Nugget TDI SL = 18" and the GMT = 21" set at 7'5 (pre set mark) So I could do up to 10 if conditions Allow, But considering the SL has a 12 DF mono I would never of expected that to happen, Like The MXT when you Turn The GMT up you Can hear it Changing Gears so to Speak as it Multiplies the Gain, Has anyone here found any Deep Nuggets with the SL, I know that someone in OZ found a 5.6ozt nugget AT 32" using a 20 NF Coil, I have picked up Large Iron at have 4 foot deep and the subway Tunnel at over 6 feet deep, But as winter is all but over I am hoping to get out and do some testing ect, Thanks Guys,, John

I want to get more time In with My TDI SL, But It has Limited use for me here and I was going to buy A 4800, But I have so much fun with my VLF's every time is like an Adventure, The GB2 is the King of the Specks without A Doubt, But The GMT having the meter helps me Recognise the Subtle Ground Changes, I Love the V3i but having all those menu's puts me off it, But yes I want one, whether I will buy one is another matter The GM3 is Nicer to listen to than the GMT from what I heard on YT videos, whether it is in real life or not is something I can't Answer.

Very True Chris,, I Have A PI as well, But I bought my GMT for hunting fine Gold In Wales and Scotland As they recently RE Opened up A Gold Mine in Scotland and I am working on going up there for months at A Time, Hence why I Own the Machines I do, As you say the Trash Is A Very big issue here which Is why I got rid of my GP3500 and went with the SL because I can knock out some of the Junk, john

G'day Everyone, As Opposed to asking which is the Best VLF and Starting A Brand War, I think the Most important Questions Are What VLF /S do you have and What are the most important Features To You about Your VLF, With Me Being an Aussie YEP you guess it I was Minelab NUTS But after Many years looking at Finds on the forums and wondering if I was ever going to find something Like I saw in The Magazines and forums, Anyway I went showing off my Sovereign GT with all the coils I had round A Mates House and he got out a Detector I had never seen Before and within seconds I was deflated And then we went detecting and I realized that Living in an Area with over 5000 years of metal workings I needed A Machine with A Fast Recovery .And Not Only that It Had to be Hyper Sensitive and After Spending Time reading reviews by Certain Young Alaskan Gentleman and dreaming about the Stories he told I ended up with My First MXT 300 and I Struck GOLD, ( 16.4 grams of 18ct ) On my Second Trip Out in The First week, So Back to the AMD forum and I found out about the GMT Goldmaster, So Out with My Bank Card Again and the Next Day I had A shite and Briney ( Bright and Shiny ) GMT should I say, and the first thing I noticed was the Ground GRAB and the Manual GB Ooooo So Then I was Back On the Phone Ordering the New MXT Pro, It has the Grab button Tooooo , This Grab Button Is worth its weight in Gold because I Never use my Machine without Covers on them and having the Grab saves me having to open the Cover to switch to Auto Track and then back to Manual and the Hand Made Custom Covers Keep my machines Looking Like New, I love the Fact these machines can be Turned On and I am detecting In Seconds and they will work Anywhere In the World, I sometime detect up to 60 hours a week and more some times and the Coil Choice means I can fine tune the machine to suit the Venue, The Manual says You should get about 40 hours from A Set Of Batteries But I have found that I have got over 57 hours out of them and they still were not flat, I would Like to Try some Energizer Lithium Batteries because they run Higher Voltage and with some equipment can last up to 10 times longer and Have many other Merrits, For those of you who Are world Travellers If you are going to the UK or Europe Make sure you bring a machine with A fast Recovery speed and if you do have Machines Like the V3i or the Deus they will Be Perfect Also, Tesoro's Are Lethal On English Hammered Coins Too, Anyway Thanks for Listening, ( yeah I Know) Reading. I would like to see A Comparison on this Machine and the GB 2 and the GMT, The Normal FORS Pro Pack Machine costs $1254.43c which is a rip Off, So before I take the plunge I need to know if it can do what my MXT and GMT's Can't. Thanks for the Info,, John

Be Warned because they say they grow to about 12 foot, But they don't,, I have seen them with their head in the bush on one side of the road and their tail was still coming out of the bush on the other side and they can be as fat as your Leg, and if they bite you, You can come up in a rash in the same spot for the next 7 years, I don't know why but so the story goes.

I was wondering about Alaska and Snakes, For the past 5 years I have subscribed to the Fairbanks Daily News Miner Ever Since The Early Days of AMD and Every Year I watch The Iditarod and The Yukon Quest, I suppose it is too cold for Snakes That's Another reason I Love the Place, Going There Is Very High on My Bucket List, I have Even Bought The Cold Weather Gear so I Don't Snuff It, Due to Life Changing Things I have started to make my Dreams Come True, I just bought a Guitar that I waited 35 years to Own So Happy Days, Is That the Arizona King Snake?
