  1. Hello Steve, ordered/paid Feb 4 and on March 26th I was told about 2 more months Was going to call again in the next day or so to see if I really had another month of waiting.
  2. Ringmoney, It sounds like you are mostly disappointed, the good thing is you might have found the perfect target for the next new machine to hit. Fine separation VDIs for specific coins from different countries might be the next new setting on a detector. An adjustable VID scale, depending where you are?
  3. " How do you tell my serial number is really long but starts 92 " I thought it might be just a simple format something like 0009865. But I guess its not that simple.
  4. Hello Just-swell, welcome to the forum. Just out of curiosity, without giving your machines exact serial number, is it higher than 10,000 or may 15, I'm wondering how many have been shipped. (while I am waiting for mine) thanks Dug
  5. I printed mine in booklet form first, but I couldn't read it second time printed full size I can read it, but some colored text is still hard to see. I have had a lot of study time, the end of March has come, but no nox in sight.
  6. I will be testing my E-nox the first day on my dimes at 6 and 8 inches to see how low I can run the sensitivity and get an ID. I hoped that someone would do this, but have not seen it yet. Imagine how easy coin hunting might be if at sens 15 you reach coin size targets at 8 or more inches with ID, and all the tiny targets quiet way down. I don't use a shovel in a park, many places already say no to detecting so we are very careful not to give the appearance of digging big holes. Once a government agency makes a "rule" it's near impossible to get it changed.
  7. You have just found the most common error (IMO) in most/maybe all instruction manuals.
  8. I sure hope my order Feb 4 is in the first round of orders, if not it looks like a lot longer wait. What if I didn't even make the second round.
  9. You may find it helpful to just raise the coil, if you loose the target at about 4 inches, above ground it's likely is more than 4 inches deep. (of course depending on the target size) It would be easy to test on the next target you dig. This has become common practice for me in parks to insure I am not digging a can that is 12"+ deep.
  10. Sad news today, E-Nox has little chance of arriving in time for my first "Club Hunt" of the year in April. Hopefully a big freighter is just about to doc and a whole bunch are coming. I can't complain to much I know a lot of people have been waiting a lot longer than I have.
  11. Thanks Steve, I have been watching for some indication that units were making it to dealers, watching the forum they seem to come one at a time, of course there's more, but when you are waiting you just keep checking for that email and watching others find good stuff. The E-Nox has energized a lot of people, I just wish they were digging a little smaller holes. thanks again
  12. It does seem like a phone could be a possible source, (like a phone trying to connect to a wifi signal) some phones have an "extreme power saving mode" it allows for texts and phone calls, but cuts off all everything else. If airplane mode fixes the issue, maybe extreme power saving will also work and allow the phones basic features?
  13. Getting back to recovery speed, I understand the whole concept of trash separation and the effects on depth, but I was wondering in a general sense if you are "normally" a fast sweeper or a slow sweeper should you hedge higher in recovery speed for fast sweepers and lower for slow sweepers. Or base recovery speed solely on trash density and the need for separation?
  14. Tim, I think you have it. EXACTLY correct, and I can't wait to try it.
  15. Hello Mike, any chance you or your neighbor has "invisible fence" (buried wire) for a dog ? It made it nearly impossible to detect at one place I hunted, until they turned it off.
  16. Why the Equinox, because I think about and research what I want for so long when it comes along there is no doubt or its been replaced with something better. I have used my x-705 for six years and have debated a 4th coil for 2 years, but I just couldn't put more money into it, the 705 is great, but not water proof, getting old, and still didn't get quite enough depth. I have been considering a new machine for a while, but each one I studied had a couple draw backs, often price and or weight. I should mention I really really like the 705, so then I here about a new machine and for 3 months I check every last detail, hear and see that its similar to the x-705, (sort of) till it becomes a no-brainer, now I am just waiting for the email that says its coming.
