  1. That old guy is Woody from The Discovery Channel ....from Legends Of The Superstition Mountains...
  2. Thought someone would like to see all the fun and excitement they missed.....Ha
  3. Spent a couple off hours looking at a bunch of gold and tools for prospecting.
  4. Stabilizer......today I had the gain on 12 and Stabilizer on 3..... Sensitive Extra normal mode. The smallest nugget is .17 and total weight 1.40 grams on the nose.
  5. Try with a sensitivity of 1and 3......and find real small gold.....
  6. Got a New Cover if anyone is interested: The Eureka Worx made by Bob .... 4K Video Here : https://youtu.be/Jpz0NWRIn8o
  7. Found small nuggets with the 4500 ....... This is Part #2 the actual nuggets after cleaning with spit ..... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-KXXi5StNtw&t=42s This is part #1 if interested in the area..... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xmHkeFG31HI
  8. It even discriminates well with iron targets using a DD .... I use mine with the 14x9 NF and on hot ground on RX 10 and stabilizer 1 on special Extra ....... it gets a #7-8 bird-shot at 6-10 inches .... and using the SteelPhase 01 man do they scream using an external speaker .......
  9. It finds if you are on the correct grounds.......This is my second round starting in 2020...... Last year's finds help me buy a GPX 4500 from Rob's inventory ...... But still use the XP ORX a lot.......
  10. The Orx does a good job..... But acts funny in real hot grounds.....These rocks drove me nuts today and forced me to grab the GPX 4500..... The one on the Danish looks like a BBQ rib or also like my mom's brownies.....
  11. The GPX 4500 got me (6) little nuggies..... Not much, but 2.56 grams total it's enough for me.....
  12. I shove my old large cable on top of the machine using a regular cover....it fits....
  13. Yeah man....Post a picture ...It will possibly will give me some new ideas and a new way to visualize a possible new project ......Thanks ....
  14. I don't use a vest or anything, I just need a nice backpack so after (6) hours of detecting to break down the 4500 and to fit the lower arm and coil in it with the entire detector, battery and pick on and in the backpack ..... and walk two hours down the mountain back to the truck......
  15. They got close, where the shovel is placed will take a large 24-30" inch pick and enough pockets for crevicing tools and GPS and phone and water.... It's not bad if it was just a bit larger it would hold a GPX perfect.....
  16. yeah man..... Why buy something new if what you have works great, this ain't no fashion show out by the creek ......
  17. Yeah, but I thought a Minelab GPX 4500 would fit too .... But I got it anyway to stuff the ORX in it, that I also carry with me during detecting ..... two detectors are better than one .......
  18. Just got my Eureka Worx control box cover ..... http://eurekaworx.com/custom-control-box-covers.html
  19. The XP has good discrimination for when it's needed.....
  20. Welcome aboard and viva Espana !
  21. I just got mine and testing it on my buried backyard targets it makes a difference compared to my Doc's screamer which I used for months.....it's a different monster with more capabilities and very helpful in achieving a very smooth threshold ........ And she is sexy !
  22. The steelPHASE O1 will help...... I just tried it and yes you can change the tone-pitch of the threshold and the XPG 4500 output signal is very noticeable louder and real clear-smooth threshold using headphones and external speakers.......and I can say it works because I am going deaf myself......
