  1. Got my new steelPHASE 01 enhancer from Rob's today.... Let's try and see if it helps the 4500 find elusive gold.... Anyone using these ?
  2. I would get one like Two Toes Gary.... That man is a Gold Monster himself ......
  3. My XP still functions perfectly...... used it today to find some lead....... My new strategy, think every target is lead and a nugget will pop out.......
  4. I double checked and they are all historical open sources for non commercial use not Copyrighted.
  5. Most saw him as a hero and mysterious, but didn't know his real background and how he killed and moved and really never worked any mines, he's known to be involved in 9 to 11 murders (That's why he hid in the Superstition Mountains) the state of Arizona Sheriff's and Marshall's investigations found these details after his death ..... He was just a scoundrel and constantly running from the law and on the move the entire time .......
  6. In the United States brother..... Specially around Arizona and California....... People got tired of miners ..... Those are the nationalities listed in the Arizona deportation reports, I did my homework do yours ..... I have been studying and reading of what calamities happened during the mining years from BC, US, and other parts in the world...... Miners were a rough and tough crowd....... Read about Jacob Waltz in Arizona (The Lost Dutchman), he took a mining claim in The Mc Dowell Reserve Arizona from a couple of the Peralta family boys and worked it himself ...... When they showed up to check on the Peralta boys that were missing ...... They were found shot dead and hanging in their mine ...... Read this history article: http://www.library.arizona.edu/exhibits/bisbee/history/overview.html
  7. Yeah brother it takes a lot of determination and persistence, but most important is that you learned and picked up some experience which is what happens to me every time I go prospecting.
  8. Damb brother that's niceee ...... Here in Arizona and California we get tiny ones .......
  9. I read articles that there were so many miners that the US government gave each miner in California a claim of 50 SQ. Feet because there was no land available to prospect ..... So they dug that 50 feet claim to the Earth's Core. The state of Arizona government got tired of the high crime rate, claim jumping, and simply murdering of families to take their property that 1,000's of Mexican, Chinese, Italian, Irish, African and many others were simply rounded up and deported back to their country (and a lot dropped of near New Mexico) because they didn't want to join unions (Copper Unions). I have seen several claims with the owners buried on the actual claim, and the head stone read, murdered for his gold claim and the headstone erected by his grand children, also 100's of headstones in Nevada and Arizona abandoned cemeteries out in the desert marked found dead (Name Unknown)....... I also have seen several tomb stones with found shot with dates of 1842 to 1861 (name unknown)....
  10. Man, I was looking at some past prospecting images and thought you guys would find interest in viewing them.
  11. Just got mine today..... So I will give a full review when tested ......
  12. Well the guy that makes it dared me to break it ...... So I'm on it ........ I'm going on Sunday to Wickengurg AZ to tear up some quartz veins ...... and try the Hermit .....
  13. Yeah, the picks suffer with hard material and abuse, the owner lives by the moto " Try To Break It" .... The guy lives in my area here in Arizona.... So I just drive by and have him sharpen it, poly the wood, and keep it always in top condition....Ha ha..... Don't tell him that ....... I'm going to carry it in my Apex Pick holder on my belt, so I needed a pick that wouldn't pull my pants down.... Not a pretty sight.
  14. Finding shallow targets it's a luxury to me...... Everything I dig is 12" to 18" inches and tons of rocks...... I get lucky once in a while with one the size of a scoop in length ...... I do try kicking shallow target but the ground here in Arizona is like concrete .....
  15. Yeah man shipping overseas has become a nightmare since New Years 2020 ........ Take care man, you do have beautiful picks .....
  16. Now you pay $150.00 AU for the pick and they charge you import tax, any package over 24" inches pays additional fees and it sits in EU customs and California or New York customs for weeks ........ That's why I bought it in the US and is guaranteed for life .... it was $59.99 and it weighs 1.22 Kg./2.70 pounds .... and can't wait all that time while someone plays with my pick (It's a pretty nice pick)...... and I'm happy .... Now I can say Mine is bigger than yours to my buddies... Ha
  17. I contacted him and the shipping is the same as the price of the pick......Total was $300.00 AU to USA
  18. Got my Hermit today..... And he is so light and sturdy..... A sweet purchase and glad I found it...... Ordered yesterday and got today....
  19. It's pretty awesome once you learn her ...... Simply don't give up !
