Nick Lambert You’ve still got to walk over it to find it. My friend has the 2 and compared it to my 1. Slightly deeper and the signals were clearer but we still more or less dug the same. There’s no magic machine out there. They are all good. Just get some good land. 2 Like Reply 22 h

d2 has better gb so likely to be better with ground grab

visit the detectival later,in the year a 3 day event with guys from all over the world .camping at the site and booze and bands in the evening

mi-4 doesnt like the deus they interfere with each other ,i have to keep it out of range

whats your prefered mode of GB ??ts a bit of a dark art .....tracking pumping or manual? i usually go with t racking or pumping or sometimes leave it on auto depending on the soil type dont know about d2s gb yet

i get an 19th C pewter button at 12 inches on a historical site with gold field prog so hoping it can do better on clean soil where a celtic fort was sited ,i need more depth as finds will be deep using d1 and 11 coil

i have put a hold on d2 purchase until i find some proof of depth increase as a pal says the vanquish is deeper and hes lending me his machine to test it .he has 40 yrs of all machines and i respect his decision videos i have seen shows d2 its not too deep# theres a big saving on a vanquish also
