okara gold
Any ideas as to how the extra battery can be safely carried so as not to corrupt any of its components while hunting in total submersion in salt water?
Steve Herschbach
Well burped dry bag? I know for people a long way from the rig that may be an issue. For me after 4 hours I’ll be fine with a hike back to the car for lunch and a restroom break, swap batteries. I’ll be keeping canned air and Q-tips in the car to properly clean the connections before swapping the battery. For now at least I’ll treat the battery connections with kid gloves until I get a better feel for the detector in actual longer term use.
okara gold
Sounds like a good way to go. Being on the cautious side... I'll use two!
Steve Herschbach
If you got a couple M8 Protective Caps and installed it might be all a person needs. Do that and place in dry bag, double protection.

cudamark
If you already have an Impulse AQ, don't you already have those measurements?
