Detech 4" X 18" Arrow Coils

Greetings!

I did a search but can't find anything here regarding these.  Has anybody used one?  Are they a copy of the Bigfoot with the Circle Eight windings or just a long narrow D/D?

They're a long narrow DD coil, excellent coil too, I really like mine, I bought it for my Gold Bug Pro.

Thanks, Simon!!!!  I typed in "Detech Arrow" and just "Arrow" and nothing came up.

Can't speak to the Bigfoot/winding piece, but I ordered mine (White's MXT version) here:

It's a fun one to take out on a field/beach/park with minimal trash and shallow drops. Lots of coverage area, and pinpointing is super-easy by wiggling off the tip.

Take my input with a grain of salt, however -- I only have maybe 4-5 hours experience on the coil, and that's running it on an MXT Pro.

Be sure when you search the forum that you are searching “Everywhere” or you won’t find stuff. I just searched Detech and Arrow and both worked. The search defaults to the thread or sub forum you are in and people not making sure it’s looking “Everywhere” is why things do not get found.

I thought it automatically did that.  I try to search first so I'm not repeating a topic, especially if it was a long thread.

It would be best if it defaulted to everywhere, I'm sure it used to, maybe not but I don't remember having to change it, either way it works a treat if you remember to change it 🙂

I bought an Arrow for use on my White's DFX. I sold my BigFoot coils while they still demanded a high ($500) price. The Arrow's performance equals the BigFoot as far as depth and separation but it is about 6 oz heavier that the Bigfoot. The Arrow is great for searching large areas like parks and ball fields, and also WWII military bases where targets are shallow but few and far between. Due to the 18" length, they are real coin and jewelry vacuums. Super quick pin pointing also.

Thanks for this!  The GB Pro is such a light machine.  Any problems with the extra weight, Simon?
