Some Gold And Silver

We had kind of a „hundred year flood“, which revealed a lot of old stuff on some beaches. Many many detectorists already hammered the beaches - still I did find some good stuff - and two goldies again!

Some 925:

9k gold:

Some more 925:

14k gold:

And a LOT.. I mean a LOT of old clad during the past 2-3 weeks... over 170DM - that's over 90$ .. + maybe 100 Euros.

Great hunt Sinclair, really good you were able to take advantage of the erosion. I hope no one was harmed by the flood. Great rings and amount of money found, can you still exchange old currency?

Thank you!

Afaik no persons were harmed, but the flood caused a lot of damage to some harbors, beaches and dunes etc.
Yes, you can still exchange DM to EUR if you send it to the central bank. Over the course of the last 3-4 years, I've found ~700 DM in clad - that's about 350€ or ~380$!

Pile of after-storm coins, that need a cleanup (not including clean coins, tokens, foreign coins etc):

188,50 DM and 152€ .. wow. I think never found that much in such a short time during the winter season!

Another 925:

And an WW2 identification-mark:
