Being a world class musician, he detected parallel to the ground with his coil facing up towards the sky. When he was about to dig, I asked him if I could check his signal in discrimination. He was right 90% or better. I figured he could hear tones I could not. Musician ear was my best guess. Was a pleasure to have been your friend in this life.
