  1. Here I am posting at the same time Steve was. khouse you can take all what Steve says to the bank. That guy is bubbling over with info. Chuck
  2. Khouse If you can get some old shot gun shells and get the shot out. The old ones is got lead in it. If you can get your hands on any lead and then cut to different weights. This will take the place of the gold you don't have. Best of luck on the new detector when we can get one. Another thing if White's offer smaller coils for the MX you may need one. The trouble is you have to spend the money first to play the game. The Best Chuck
  3. Nevada 1616 The best thing you can do is sit back and read what Steve and others have posted. Sounds like you have a good detector to start but just maybe all you need is a smaller coil for nugget hunting. I don't know the size of coil the MXT Pro comes with.. The Best Chuck
  4. Goldgrabber That is one great find you made. Now the only trouble you will have is digging everyday coins. The best of luck you never have to come down. Chuck
  5. Digger Bob Sounds like we'll be getting a lot in a small waterproof package and at a fair price. Thanks for the info. Chuck
  6. Well not all gambler. I didn't see a digging arm on it. As I grow older I think my arms are getting shorter. That's why I always hunt up hill are into the side of a bank. Chuck
  7. Now White's has a video just to tell you the price. I just seen it over on MD-hunter. I think the price has been said on here before but here it is again 799. Well I've got to have one and I need to move a detector are two. This kid has got to get out of this candy store. I think this forum is finer than frog hair but the trouble is I can't buy all what seen. Another great thing about this forum is if it's out there you will see it here first. Chuck
  8. Sorry about that. I just seen it and also to hear about it. Here I was thinking I had something new and wanted to tell all. Oh well that's life.Ha I didn't say I was the smartest rock in the box. Chuck
  9. To be sure I hadn't slip a gear I done a search and found more on this subject. I'm not saying I know anymore. Just maybe someone on here will. Chuck
  10. White's applied for a trademark called XVENTURE. I don't know just what it's all about. .MD-Hunter had it on their site. Talk was maybe something new in metal detectors from White's for 2016. The odd thing is when I went back to take another look it was gone. ???????? Chuck
  11. One policy I've had and that is return all rings if can. Now that's if it comes with tracking like high school and college rings. You may not get as much as a thank you but you know you done the right thing. For the ones that do say thanks will make you all warm inside. The Best Chuck
  12. Hi Cabin Fever I just wrote a story about a detector on the MX posting. The place this all happen I have found over that seventy gold, silver and junk rings Then I could walk and hunt this place without trouble but now they have a fence around it. This place is in a park and now they have stop all detecting. I never seen another detecting and I never left a hole uncovered. Who knows what's the thinking of the powers that be but that's way life is. Let the next gold ring come soon for you. They're out there you've got to spend the time looking. Chuck
  13. I do believe that White's wants us treasure hunters to be a part of the new MX Sport waterproof detector. My reasoning behind this has been all the video's to show the progress of the MX coming to life. I don't know if they first plan all this exposure but I like it. With all I've seen so far I've got the hots to have one.Ha Of course I'm a lover of White's detector for over 45 years with my first BFO detector. This waterproof more so coin detector makes me going back in the past when I needed it. One of my sick rememberable times when I saw my White's 66 TR going under water. This was all seen as I fell and my detector goes flying followed by bubbles as it went under. Well as fast as I could put myself together I went diving for my not so waterproof detector. When it came above the water line I was one sick puppy to see all that water coming from it. The first thing I disconnected the batteries and then the coil with the shaft. I headed to my car and started it with the heater on hot and coming out at the floor of the car. With the battery door open and the hot air going I could only hope this would save it. Now I want you to know this is not a fairy tale but it did have a happy ending. Yes after a short time I got my detector put back together with the same batteries and I was back detecting. You may be wondering if I ever had trouble because of the fell swimming lesson I gave my detector. Well no and never did. Chuck
  14. It sounds so good to hear about White's new MX Sport and all the other detectors we'll see in 2016. I've had my eagle 2 from way back in 1991 and it has something I'd like to see on the new detectors of today. You had two spots on the face of it you could push to reject or accept. Pick what you wanted and wave the coil over the item them the deed was done. You didn't have to go into a program to make a change. I guess I'm one that wouldn't be happy if you hung me with a new rope. When White's said waterproof that was something I needed some years ago. I too need to move some toys to make room for the MX Sport. Chuck
  15. Here is the MSRP of each Garrett Ace Ace 200-200i-199.95 Ace 300-300i 299.95 Ace 400-400i 399.95 At one time not everybody could afford to get into metal detecting.. Now every kid on the block can get enough money out of his piggy bank to pay for a detector. Chuck
  16. Hi Tom From the time i had my first White's ID detector you can take a hand full of gold rings and they all will fall into the trash area. Anything that hits in the high and low range of ID 20 you need to dig it. Before we had ID I found more rings than I ever did with the one that did. I think in away having a detector with ID has made us lazy to some degree. Just maybe a detector with more tone ID's can give us all of what you want. I need to move up to something other than my eagle 2 but it's been my best friend for a long time. I know if I'm calling a detector friend I do need to get a life. Well it's never been in for repairs and never let me down in the field. The Best Chuck
  17. i don't care what game you play ( model detector ) or what door you pick it's all good for 2016. The latest video on a new detector does more for me than the picture of that model above. For the people that like swinging a detector in 2016 then this is the year for you. The best thing you can do is sit back and enjoy the ride. Chuck
  18. Ringmoney that's what I was thinking when I was reading it .It's been sometime back that I've looked at the Ace line of detectors. I just repeated what's said. I stand corrected and thanks for it. Chuck PS With the DOW down like it is I may say anything right now. it's not HaHa.
  19. On md-hunter its says that Garrett has added a ( i ) after each number. At first look without firing it up you can't see the difference. It's all in the new software in more ways than one If you want to learn more I'll let you go look for yourself. The only dealings I've had with Garrett Ace was when I got the 200 for my Grandson. I was surprise to see what the Ace 200 had to offer for the money. More new for 2016. Chuck
  20. I just talk with one of the dealer they show here in San Antonio Tx..He did have one of the ones that first came out but it was under powered. It was better on the road than off. He said he thinks the newer models may have more power with two motors but less run time. I was told to check back with him in June and just maybe he'll have one then. Chuck Anders
  21. I had a dog some years back just like that. I had named him Dollar. There was times he was worth a million and the next time he got down to fifty cents. The trouble is you don't know it's true worth until it's gone. You take the good and the bad and it will add up to the enjoyment of life. Money can't buy this even if your dog is named Dollar. Chuck Anders
  22. I think most on here knew about the trouble I was having with my new Nokta Fors Gold Plus detector. The first thing Nokta done was send me a new handle being I didn't have numbers displaying on it. They paid shipping both ways but that didn't fix it Remember this company is over six thousand away. This Monday Nokta sent me a new handle and control box all the way from Turkey and I got it today. Well I'm seeing numbers on the handle I'd never seen before. Here again Nokta paid shipping to me and the same going back. If for any reason you're not sure about putting your hard earn money down on a detector. Well this company called Nokta and people like Dilek has been there all the way for me. I say put your worries aside because this company makes a quality product. You've heard companies say they stand behind their detector. Well Nokta stood behind it and right up front willing whatever it took to make a customer happy. I've said this in another post and that this is the first company to pay all shipping. I could have gone around the world for all the shipping Nokta has paid out for. With me sending back the defective control box Nokta can find the problem. making sure it don't happen again too others.. Thank You Dilek and Nokta Chuck Anders.
  23. Well everyone I'll get a new detector by the end of next week. Nokta has paid the shipping both ways and will do the same on this one too In all my years of detecting never has a company paid to ship both ways. Right now I'm looking forward to the Impact coming out. Thanks Dilek. Chuck Anders.
  24. Steve Kiesel Oh I haven't given up yet. I guess I'm in here for the long ride .I just want to take it to a fix and that's all. Chuck
