I was reading over again about the MX Sport in Lost Treasure written by Andy. On the MX Sport Andy didn't have a 100 % to say on it. On any detector we will have some positive and negative thing to say about it . What is trouble for one is not for another. I think this wholes true for us all. It's a old saying if you live in a glass house you shouldn't throw rocks. Maybe it would be best if we take a look at ones self before we pickup a negative word. I think all of us want the detector companies to listen to us. Like when I posted on here my new out of the box Nokta Gold Plus was not working. I just posted I needed help bad and Nokta was here. It did help I knew they posted on here all the time. The main thing they were there more than willing to make it right. I'm no saint being Steve just had to removed something said between me and another guy. Like me I forget what I'm saying is here for all to read. I just need to remember what I say is here for all ears to read. Nothing private be positive are negative. Chuck

Hi Klunkler Have you had a talk with the powers that be ? I'd be ringing Minelab's door bell until they wanted to listen..They have a great detector but small things come up like the coil cover. If I buy a car it has a bumper to bumper warranty for a set time. If you have a two are more years warranty I'd say it should whole true for my detector too. Now if replace one thing on your detector and here you back again next month. Just maybe you have reach my limit of what I'll do for you. Call them. Chuck

At one time every year in Texas you could find a Treasure Show that was for the coin hunters. I don't know what stop first the dealers are the people coming. Now I look but haven't seen any in a very long time. The State of Texas hasn't help none. You can't hunt on State Park land are on that national sea shore. Anything that's got Texas written on it you better walk away are go to jail. Chuck

Wondering if it would be a dealer of the racer 2 be at the GPAA gold show next month but no reply. I'd like to see if the other detector it's been so much talk about be there too. I myself will show up there just to see both. Maybe I need to ask Markro if the Racer 2 will be out soon Soon as in next month. Well you didn't see any question marks. It's been so much talk of what we don't like about the location of the headphone jack. Well the powers that be put it there and whatever reason they didn't call us first before they done it. This may be the reason White's is giving us the adapter for the worry warts to reduce the stress. Like I said before that adapter cord looks long enough to run under your arm and turn it back to the front to plug that headphones you like. We had good bad and indifferent talk going on the eleven page about the MX Sport and it's not over with yet. I've had one White's dealer contact me informing me he should have some soon in stock. He didn't know just how bad I wanted one and to say no just about put me in the hospital. I'm more inline with Steve on a better ID than depth. I know I'm repeating myself but some of the oldest coins I found had no more than dust over them. Being I'll be 75 in May maybe you can overlook my repeats.Haha I believe this talk on one detector will set a record. All I can say for White's is you must have a winner. Over the years I never went into depth as you and guys like Andy on a detector. I just look at it wanting only to know it would do what I wanted. I've look more on what makes a detector tick by reading reports you posted and guys like Andy's reviews. So if I'm going to pat someone on the back are pin a gold star on them I'd say step forward Steve H.. What someone else is getting paid for their views you give it out free. Any time a person has a question I never heard you say go find it yourself. Thank you Chuck

Steve I've read so many reviews of Andy's on detectors. If for any reason someone thinks I was putting him down is wrong. Like said this forum has been running over with so much info. The main reason I can't ask the Mag. a question. On here you get a flood of info if you take time to read and you can still ask that question you got. Hope I've made myself clear. Chuck

I just wanted to bring this back to the top of the pager for all to see. We've got the GPAA gold show in March and the Summit in April. I'd like to say I could make both but I know that's just a big wish I know can't come true. Chuck

Okay I've said all I'm going to say about MX Sport from White's. Now what I do want to know will it be out by the time the GPAA gold show in AZ ? I ask the same about the Racer 2. If you the powers that be in the know will you please let me know. I got money just burning a hole in my pocket for one of these detectors I'd like to show up at the ICJM big show and hunt my way back home. Chuck

I remember paying that 100 extra for the adapter for my SDC 2300 plus 85 for the cover.That's another detector I don't have anymore. I've had so many different detectors in the last 10 years than in the past 35 before that. I'd say the reason is it's more companies making detectors now. Here I am a big kid in this candy store of detectors and I want them all. Another thing when I was a young big kid I was more concern just to make a living for my family. The kids were like little birds with their mouth open wanting food put in it.. I've told my kids when you get married you have a whole pie to eat together. Now each time you have a kid the part of the pie for you gets smaller. you keep having more kids you won't have any pie at all. I don't what this has to do with detectors. Oh well it didn't cost you anything.haha Chuck

khouse If we never agree again I do on your above post. It's been times in past years I wish my detector was waterproof. Say the time I drop one in the water and it couldn't swim. Lucky for me it was fresh water and it worked after some heat to dry it out. Chuck

khouse That's my trouble now in I got more detectors than I need now. If was to buy the MXS I really don't need it waterproof. I like the big display and other things it has to offer. Years back White's was the only detector I'd buy. But over time I've found out there is other great detectors available. The waterproof adds more weight on what your swinging and that's the only drawback so far I see. Well other what we've been talking about. Chuck

khouse I too am not real happy with the location of the headphones plug. Now with the adapter cord if it's long enough I could run it back under my arm. That's a maybe. I do believe I'll watch the videos on the MXS and Racer 2 before I buy anything. I too want to hear Steve's review on both detectors.. In the pass I had to have the first one out the door. But I'm looking at this detector for my coin detector that I want to have years from now. I want to fall in love with it and with a true love you can't let it go. Chuck

Fred A trip like that would be for me one in a life time. Like you said it's too much space to be running around and if I came I'm there for the gold. It's just a dream away and five thousand dollars. That's a wild guess that I'm making on the money. Chuck

Looking at the back of the MX Sport I see the coil plug is on the right as you look at it . Now I swing a detector with my right hand. That tells me being the headphone plug is on the left the cord will be coming across the top of the Sport. I sure it was a simple cheap fit for White's. I wish White's would come out the back above the battery box. Now if you a left hand swinger it may work better for you. I like all the other the MX Sport has to offer. But just maybe it would be good if it will come in right are left hand detector. It could be I'm standing on the wrong side. Chuck PS Pass it on to White's Digger. It's a easy flip flop between the two plugs.

the Gold gods told me this what I must do to make all happy that look for it. So i chop it up and I spread it over the land for the nugget hunters to find in the US. Here I am to chop and chop to the end of time. You have just read the bull for the day. Chuck PS If I found something that big you would have to pull it out of my dead hand to chop it up.

Hi khouse I know all the other detector companies have made the waterproof headphones optional. If I go buy a land detector I get land headphones. Now I buy a waterproof detector to hunt in the water. Oh I can hunt in the water with it as long I don't get my head wet. I can do it if I'm willing to put out another hundred dollars to buy the headphones I needed to start with. I guess I was in hopes White's would make it a waterproof package. Chuck

I just looked and here I'm thinking about buying a waterproof detector. But White's is telling me the waterproof headphones is optional. Why don't White's just sell me the waterproof headphones and make the waterproof detector optional. This makes about as of much sense as other way around. Oh well it's nothing says I have to buy it. I'll leave it at that. Chuck

In April 2016 issue of Lost treasure starting on page 44 you can read the review by Andy Sabisch. On the next page you can enter your name and have a chance to win with the right answer. Now this is just my opinion. I wouldn't buy it on what's said in Lost treasure I'd say I've learn more here about the MX Sport. Andy done a great job with his review. It's just so much info has been posted here about the MX Sport and we have Digger Bob with his review.. Chuck PS Something is not right. They are saying the contest is between Feb. 1st and Feb 29th. Before it always started the next month like March. Here the month is over half over with. Well I called Grove Ok. and like everything else you get a recording. They still open for business and I left them a message. I've been by there not too long ago and found only one guy there and I think that's the way it is most of the time. I've called more than one time to ICMJ and never got a recording.

Hope all made the trip from the old to the new forum. I like when Rob made the change and this looks the same. This is such a great forum and now it's made a big step forward. For info on new detectors you will find it here. The main reason nobody is making a push to sell their product ( detector ). So here it's not one sided picture you get..
