  1. I'm prepared to wait , but no information is doing my head in. Is the 16x10 a spoked coil or a solid coil ? Or both! Paid for mine in august 22 and still don't know if I'm getting spoked or solid. I know a lot of people will disagree, but I hate spoked coils! Reason is they get caught on every stick , rock, piece of bark , grass ect ect. Plus they are to hard to seal the skid plate . I like to run tape around outside to keep dust and moisture out, impossible with a spoked coil.
  2. Yep first question people ask when you show them some gold, is where did you find it ? My reply is "in the ground."
  3. Well there you go , must have been an old video .๐Ÿ‘
  4. Last seen in Western Australia detecting with krissy, outback gold fever. Latest video.
  5. Good time to process all those species, and melt a bit of gold , good relaxing times.
  6. Just me again, got my 6000 in July 21, screwed the crap out of the lock bizzos , never changed again. Hasn't moved since. Maybe minor adjustments.?๐Ÿ˜‚ Anyway never had all the problems everyone else has complaining about. Just checked 11" stock coil cracked! They will both go back and get the up grade while still under still warranty . Bring on the nuggetfinders๐Ÿ™‚. Wasn't that long ago people were saying we don't care if there not as sensitive , just need one that'll fit here and fit there. Well welcome to the real world. I love my coilteks , they work when nothing else will in this Mongrel wet red dirt . Less sensitively the better for me! Anyway 2 many JD's 4 me so I'll get off the soap box , cheers ๐Ÿป
  7. Patience is a virtue, not only detecting but life in general. ๐Ÿ˜‡
  8. Yes that's OK trev ๐Ÿ‘, a couple more with flash on , I think they show the gold better .
  9. 5 successful days in the goldfields with the gpx 6000 and coiltek goldhawk coils, very happy chappy. ๐Ÿ˜Š
  10. I'd just like to thank Trevor for his advice, love ๐Ÿฅฐ the new coils. They have certainly tamed my 6000 , different machine now. Thanks coiltek ๐Ÿ˜€
  11. 4 bits for the 14ร—9", impressed is an understatement ! Built like a tank , performance excellent. They have changed my GPX 6000 from a wild brumby to a child's pony.
  12. Finally got to test new 9"round coil , 2 hours later and a nice little speci. Wow what a difference the coil makes. I've never been able to run on anything more than lowest sensitivity and difficult. Now can run full sensitivity, but found about 3 o'clock position better. Still haven't tried normal. I'm with you on this phrunt, I think I may of had a dodgy coil all along. Although found about 5 Oz in the 12 months I've had the 6000 and standard 11" coil . Completely different machine now. About to change to 14 ร—9" and give it a run.
  13. 14ร—9 and 9 inch round coils finally turned up , very impressed. Solid well made with a good heavy duty skid plate. Cannot wait to test them out . If they perform as good as they look and feel they will be a winner for sure.
  14. Just noticed the serial # has been added to invoice , fingers crossed I'll have them by next weekend
  15. Just checked my miners den account, now it's saying two coils dispatched but no tracking details available
  16. Mmm , planned my annual trip to tibooburra around the July 14 release , prepaid for 2 coils 5 or 6 weeks ago. Thrown a spanner in the works.
  17. Hi Trev , any truth to the rumour that goldhawk coils release date has been pushed back to 28th July?
