Rick N. MI
To see how deep it can go on a nickel in the sand. I've seen the Deus 2 and Manticore tested how deep it can hit a nickel. I haven't seen the Legend tested this way. I would like to know. I'll know in a couple more months when I test it myself. I'm hoping it's right there close with the Deus 2 & Manticore. JCR
I assume you are thinking about your fresh water lake sites. I have a permission that is an old swimming park. In wet weather season the ground is a layer of white water sand under the sod with a iron ore clay base at 12-14 inches where the coins mostly rest. I have dug a lot of corroded Nickels & Cents there at 12 inches with a good signal response.
