cookie58
I have been unable to get the V1.0 yet. I may not want to. However, I think that my problem happens to be being able to get to the login page. It doesn't list https: or www in front of the web address and my computer disallows it. I have tried turning the firewall off. This could be cookie error. But, if one doesn't like the V1.0, can you go back to V7.1? Thanks.

Yes, you can roll back to v 0.71 The login page is: https://updater.xpmetaldetectors.com/#/login, but the browser may not show https:// in the address bar, which is normal browser behavior. losfinders
I've posted that link many times now. Just click on it. No need to cut paste. Just click on that link right from the message that Chase posted above. It should go straight to the login page. Its safe. Again, just double click on link Chase provided and let us know what happens. If you can, take a screenshot of the screen that you are seeing the ERR time out message. losfinders
Long shot, but do you have Javascript disabled? https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/topic/how-to-enable-javascript-in-windows-88d27b37-6484-7fc0-17df-872f65168279
phrunt
Is it possible your router is blocking it? Mine does as it thinks it contains malware. My router uses Trend Micro's definitions. You could also try this shortened URL link to the updater site. https://tinyurl.com/2p9ad8uu
cookie58
Yes, los,Chase, and phrunt. I have tried the direct link without cutting and pasting. I have tried on two different laptops with chrome and edge browsers. I most time reset permission. I have turned off firewall. I am thinking that I may have created an account early on when my internet was real slow. I looked back at the emails and see no confirmation. One day next week I plan to go to my sisters. She has better connectivity and internet and try it there. Have you-all been able to return to the login. Thank you-all very much.
losfinders
If I click on the link right now, it will take me straight there Can you email or text your sister the link that Chase posted above. She can click on it right from her email or text if you have a cel phone. She can let you know right away if it works.

It seems to hate the login page.
