Bill (S. CA)
Some nice stuff. What detector were you using for these hunts? I've been sidelined recoering from knee surgery but my buddies have been doing well, even at Santa Monic which as you know is hunted to death. mn90403
I used my 800/15. I seem to have a good ear for the stuff at depth with it. Things are a bit deeper this year than years past it seems to me. Quarters and pennies can be 8-10" in wet sand. I can't quite imagine going another 3-4" deeper with an AlgoForce if in fact it will do that in mineralized beach sand. 1 Link to comment https://www.detectorprospector.com/topic/25404-its-about-time/page/2/#findComment-268150 Share on other sites
mn90403
Here is the hunt from yesterday. I had to give up on the wet beach and go to dry sand. There is a Santa Barbara bus token there. I've not found one of those before. 2 1 Link to comment https://www.detectorprospector.com/topic/25404-its-about-time/page/2/#findComment-268152 Share on other sites
