I used my 800/15.  I seem to have a good ear for the stuff at depth with it.  Things are a bit deeper this year than years past it seems to me.  Quarters and pennies can be 8-10" in wet sand.  I can't quite imagine going another 3-4" deeper with an AlgoForce if in fact it will do that in mineralized beach sand.

Here is the hunt from yesterday.  I had to give up on the wet beach and go to dry sand.  There is a Santa Barbara bus token there.  I've not found one of those before.
