Jonathan Porter
Crow is code for "Minelab does it again"... well done on the lump Klunker. Every individual target is unique to the Tx and Rx of the GPZ, some excite it no end others less so but overall there is definitely an advantage over previous tech. Discovering the GPZ edge can be an individual experience dependent a lot of times on your particular level of skepticism. Have a little faith people, Minelab are leaders in their field for a reason.....the GPZ 7000 is very much part of that story. JP
Norvic
Your not wrong JP, for 30 years our Minelab have given us leading edge tech, that`s bloody good "crow" that equates to that lovely yellow stuff for us. Any OZ that`s not proud of that achievement just can`t be pleased.
klunker
I also have to agree with JP. If You are truly serious about detecting gold, The best Minelab That you can afford is pretty much a necessity. There simply isn't any detector with better technology. BUT I"M STILL MIFFED ABOUT the short arm strap, the crummy headphones with a short cord, the lack of spares, the clumsy portability, the cheap soft plastic screen, the poorly designed (cheap) clip on the wireless module, the chinsy plastic foot, the distracting drum sound of the coil cover, and to top it all off I HAD TO PRINT MY OWN DANGED INSTRUCTION BOOK! And in addition to all of that, my toast was one shade to dark this morning.
Norvic
Been sitting here with a slice of bread under the GPZ`s coil for an hour, still white as a babys bum, tried all settings I could think of, even on top of coil. What settings are you using?
klunker
Just the usual. but you can plainly see the MY sensitivity setting is too high.

klunker
Hey Fred!! There are 2 Norms. I'm the good looking one and I whine all the time. The other one has looks that scare young children but he is a much nicer guy. But we both like chile verde so I guess your kind of obligated to make a trip up here.
