  1. All I can say John I hope you come out on top as the winner but don’t kill your self doing it. We can give you lots of moral support but at the distance between us that’s about all. Remember don’t feed the bears. What I’m saying is don’t become their dinner. The Best! Chuck
  2. I always say nothing ventured nothing gained. Best of luck on the outcome. Chuck
  3. That’s really surprising they had any regulations on Hydraulic Mining. Being they did have I’m surprise it was ever stopped before it wasn’t a mountain left in gold country . Chuck
  4. If any of our wife’s read this it will be the downfall of all of us. Doc had this been back in the yester years you may had to move out of Dodge for letting that cat out of the bag as only expression one would say. Chuck
  5. Jim your right in my smart remarks is not helping the guy who it happen to. Do go read my post on why it happens on Detector Prospecting Forum about G-Force. Chuck
  6. When you swing a coil from one side to the other G-Force comes into play. When you swing that coil let’s say to the right and stop that coil is still going because the G-Force is building up being it’s swinging now in the other direction. Here you are all day long left right left right until your arm plays out. The trouble we don’t think how those coil ears are fairing. The guy who’s swinging that coil may be young and strong may be that coils worse enemy because he can swing it faster plus that bigger coil will pull more G’s just being it’s just bigger. You take a strip of tin are wire bending it back and forth with like your coil ears it can take only so much and then break . I’ve known some who think a coil is a shovel trying to move rocks when nugget hunting. So many times they find out that don’t work too well. Here’s pictures of Legend coils and the ears on the LG 24 is a little thinner than the LG 15 are LG 28 plus LG 30 . The last three I do believe they are the same thickness. That’s just eye balling it . Chuck
  7. Every time we turn around someone has broken a ear off their coil. Another guy here on another forum the same thing happen to him in he too broke a ear off a coil . I’m just loss for words other than this has become a real earache. Chuck
  8. I see what you’re saying Chase. They slip that in on me. I don’t know why that would bother me being nothing else has gone right today so far. I’m expecting anytime now that the screw that holds my rear on will rust out and it will fall off. Chuck
  9. It didn’t say free on the last one but it did say 79.99 but that’s just less than the full price. I’d say that’s the nearest you can get to 80 without being it . Chuck
  10. Every week we see prices cut on detectors that’s already made a name for them self in the field. Now here comes a new kid on the block with two PI detectors and want in on a slice of American pie better known as the market. With so many sales going on before will people who need to move first on what they have will they be able to? I don’t care who you are we all have a limit on a hit we’ll take to buy another. I do believe it will be people who never had a PI before if the price is low enough will have one now. It will be beach hunters and like Nokta said one is a relic PI detector. A lot of people are benefiting from all the sales we see every week but at the same time they saturating the market with their product and leaving little room are none at all for a new PI . Nokta all I can say the naming game is over and I hope to see your two PI detectors on the market soon. That saturation point is getting larger every day and with all the sales we haven’t seen nothing yet. The Best To You Nokta! Chuck
  11. Phrunt you may not be in the USA but you’re just like family so you got my vote for a tester if they ask me. Chuck
  12. Well George with your background of what you said you tested in the past I’m surprised Nokta didn’t contact you again. The Best To You! Chuck
  13. I still believe we have a tester of the new Nokta gold PI detector are among us here on this forum. The PI relic detector tester he’s someone on the East Coast. Where is the best place in the USA to nugget hunt and that’s in the western states of the USA. Where will you find the largest number of nugget hunters and that’s on this forum. Time will let this cat out in the open maybe soon. Chuck
  14. According to what Nokta said their naming contest for their new two PI detectors will end the last day of April and it’s here. Being the naming contest time was short just maybe it will be equally short time the two PI detectors will hit the market. What we’ve seen before Nokta will under sell as they have in the past and I believe it will be the same with their gold and relic PI detectors. I’m expecting a call from Nokta tomorrow letting me know on the naming contest that Chuck you didn’t win .haha It would be great that someone on the forum here would win . Chuck
  15. The_Stalker What you said about the two coils in we like having more than one coil because another does better than the one we just used down the road are like you said beach . The Best! Chuck
  16. Midalake I wish I could help you but I can’t but I’m sure someone on here can. I just don’t understand it I’ve been detecting over 55 years now and I’ve yet broken off a ear off any coil over the years. The problem may be the coils have gotten bigger but the coil ears have not been made stronger. You can see on the picture he posted it’s no thicker than on a smaller coil. Chuck
  17. The only thing that I knew of was stay off of state parks and National Sea Shore beach with a metal detector. That goes far any State Park land beach are not. The Best! Chuck
  18. The last time I was texting Mr Gargov I ask him if he would discontinue the backpack and cut the price of the Tarsacci but his comeback was it’s free. I didn’t say more because I knew it was his way of saying no . I found some info about Mr Gargov and some of his accomplishments and who he worked for over the years. It said he worked for Fisher Research in Los Banos developing the Fisher ID,Fisher Gold Strike and the Fisher Coin Strike. It don’t say if he worked for First Texas when they bought out Fisher but I think he did before he went on his own to make the Tarsacci. When he said the backpack was free I wanted to come back saying it’s nothing free in this world but no is no . Maybe we need to start a rumor about something new coming out about the Tarsacci . If nothing else it would give us something to wish for and at the same time keep the Tarsacci forum alive. Steve posted this to let me know that I was beating a dead horse and I’m at it again. Chuck
  19. Thanks Jeff I’ve got that LG 30 coil but my only trouble right now it’s just be a air test. I will put what you said to the test if I can get myself back in the goldfields again. Remember people it is no stupid question you can ask on here. So you don’t be stupid and not ask it . Chuck
  20. Thanks Steve for posting the video and thank you JCR for your comment. The downside is with a VLF machine is you just can’t swing a big coil like on a GPX and find small gold. Just maybe the VLF will go bye the wayside like the BFO and we pickup our PI detector because it’s our go to machine for every type of detecting then . When Nokta comes out with their PI detector let’s see how far into the future did we step . Chuck
  21. I have a Legend for a good while now but due to other issues I haven’t had the opportunity to nugget hunt with it. I see talk about different coils for it to nugget hunt and I have about every coil that Nokta puts out for it but I don’t see any nuggets showing it can find them. I see other detectors finding nuggets and the Legend is running parallel to other detectors In it’s capability but no gold. Inquiring mine would like to know. Chuck
  22. Yes you got screwed are the shaft but now like a coin that has another side and its called a dealer that everyone buys from . This no name dealer told me he had just received a shipment of 20 Manticores and now Minelab tells him you got to sell them at somewhat large reduced price. If you buy from him he’s always shipped free and that adds more to his loss. You can bet your sweet ass Minelab isn’t going to compensate him for his loss. While we all are feeling sorry for ourselves I’m wondering now about who really pays when I ask for the 15% vet discount. The dealer has a price that he can sale you a detector set by Minelab. So you show proof and Minelab says sell it to him at the lesser amount. The way I see it the dealer took the hit for the 15% not Minelab. I believe and I may be wrong but Minelab wasn’t letting the dealers have the detectors at a lesser price. So Minelab made the same profit sale are not. The true person that benefited from this sale was one who didn’t have nothing to sale but just to buy. My suggestion to this dealer was do like some dealers are doing and that’s drop ship from your wholesaler . You may make less profit bye doing so but you don’t have your money in such a large inventory. Chuck
  23. Doc If possible could you post a picture of the box and if it don’t say what coil comes with it please do so . People this was the number one nugget detector before the 6000 came out and in the right hands plus training it may be it’s equal . Doc is offering this detector at a great price and you going to get that great Minelab warranty . This detector is a legend in its own time but I say get training and you know who offers that so I don’t need to name them. If a vet do check with Doc on that ! Chuck
