Sourdough Scott
I have some friends doing beach and lake detecting. A couple of them just purchased the Sand Shark. I don't know much about them. Anyone have any experience with them?
Ken Walls
It is a good PI water prof detector. In the price range with a lifetime warranty its probably the best deal going. I was impressed by its performance a few weeks ago.
Relichunter
When I dabbled in water hunting I used one and it worked very well. It ran very quite and got good depth. I wish i did not sell it.....great warranty and you cant beat the price.
Steve Herschbach
Good water coin and jewelry detector, but it has no ground balance. This is fine for most beach detecting but means if there is extreme black sand mineralization or hot rocks it will struggle. They are best kept at the beach and away from the goldfields. Equivalent machines would be the Garrett Sea Hunter and White's Surf PI.
