Just a side note, I lost my silver wedding ring detecting earlier in the year! As near as I can figure, it's (was) on one of my beaches somewhere! Thanks! Almost no houses here have basements because many of them are at or only slightly above sea level. Mine is at 80 feet, one of the higher land features. The house is interesting but at present the owner asked me not to go in it. Gotta respect that. There is plenty to find in the surroundings, I'll have to wait for fall or early spring to hunt most of it.
