Gerry in Idaho
You are making the rest of us look bad in a very good way. Keep it up as you are correct, the days are really limited now, possibly down to hours. Well earned. 1

Seven or eight yrs ago I made an offer on a second home down in Leadore about 3 miles from town...deal fell thru.... You get down in the Leadore area, Scott, I hope you'll let me know. I know that area pretty well, and spend some time there. Would enjoy meeting you. Jim

When I was looking for a place down there I was really big into shed hunting and my guess is that area would beat the hell outta the thick brushy steep country here. Was curious if the wind mill crap ever got going in the valley? If so (?) I'm glad the house deal fell thru... take care!

This season has been busy trying to add #'s to get some weight with the little stuff. All season until now has been smoke, fires, closures, helicopters, bugs and hot weather so when all that finally came to an end I got a little carried away tooting my own horn and posting as everything last couple of weeks has been absolutely perfect here. Sorry I got a little carried away. Today I found my biggest piece so far this season. Piece has some quarts in it and weighed in at 7.000g and total was 7.683g today. I'll hold off on the pics until end of season unless I snag any nicer pieces.... Thanks everyone for the likes and comments and good luck out there....!!!!!! 10
geof_junk
It makes it worthwhile when the little ones lead you to big daddy. A lot of character in it. 1

Leadore's pretty sleepy...LOL Most of the ranch land there is owned by Karl Tyler. He was raised there, but went into the auto business, and made several fortunes. Started out washing cars at a dealership. He's a good guy, and serious hunter. I think he still has the Chevy dealership at Missoula. He's really tried to help the Leadore area. I've got a friend with a gold operation just over Bannock Pass from Leadore. He's on Jeff Davis Creek. Jim 1
